About The Position

CALDWELL MEDICAL CENTER JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: RHC Manager DEPARTMENT: Caldwell Medical Associates – Clinic Offices REPORTS TO: Ops Director SUPERVISES: RHC staff POSITION SUMMARY: Supervises clinic staff by assigning daily work, scheduling staff, and serving as liaison between clinic coordinators, Providers, and staff. In addition, the RHC Manager will work closely with Providers, Nursing staff, families, visitors and CMC/CMA Administration. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Plans, coordinates and directs the delivery of clinic services. Ensures compliance with government regulations. Hires and trains new staff. Represents clinic in training and meetings as demanded. Works closely with providers and staff to deliver the best health care available. Willingly makes sacrifices for the good of others. Assigns work duties to all staff. Creates staff and provider schedules. Approves staff time and attendance and minimizes overtime by management of staff. Monitors appointment schedules for maximum use of providers time and ease of scheduling patient appointments. Observes all staff for productivity and efficiency. Looks for and implements improvements in workflow processes. Monitors supplies on hand and keeps minimum stock on hand. Assist providers as necessary to make sure charge tickets are completed by the end of each business day. Interacts with customers to look for new business opportunities and maximize services offered. Completes employee evaluations. Counsels and disciplines employees per company policy. Resolves complex customer inquiries and staff complaints. Assists with creating budget and managing expenditures. Office coach and cheerleader for excellent customer service. Sets the example everyday of going above and beyond what is required. Performs other duties as assigned. DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES: Demonstrates understanding of the Revenue Management Cycle. Demonstrates advanced computer knowledge of systems and applications related to specific duties of job title. Demonstrates basic computer knowledge of systems and applications as related to all other staff. Demonstrates effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Successfully completes all required training and continuing education. Demonstrates excellent Guest Service skills. Clerical and analytical ability to be self sufficient in performing assigned duties and maintaining confidential information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of experience
  • Three Years of Medical Clinic Management experience.
  • One year Medical Clinic budgeting experience.
  • One year Medical Clinic electronic health record (EHR) experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare administration.
  • Rural Health Clinic Certification.
  • Three or more years of Clinic Management experience.
  • Three or more years budgeting experience.
