About The Position

Experienced rural healthcare recruiter responsible for full‑cycle hiring, strategic sourcing, and retention support for critical roles for our Clovis and Tucumcari locations. The Healthcare Recruiter is responsible for managing full‑cycle recruitment for clinical and non‑clinical healthcare positions. This role partners closely with hiring managers and HR leadership to execute recruitment strategies, ensure compliance, and deliver data‑driven hiring solutions. This is an on‑site position located in Albuquerque, NM, or Clovis, NM, or Tucumcari, NM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, health, or related field OR 6 years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • 2–4 years of healthcare recruiting experience
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and decision‑making skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Ability to work on site in Albuquerque, NM or residence within New Mexico

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting clinical healthcare roles (nursing, allied health, providers)
  • Knowledge of healthcare compensation, equity placement, and offer negotiation
  • Experience working in hospital, clinic, or healthcare system environments
  • Familiarity with New Mexico healthcare workforce trends
  • Experience using metrics and analytics to guide recruitment strategy

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate hiring activities in compliance with PHS policies, procedures, and Affirmative Action guidelines
  • Develop recruitment plans for open healthcare positions in collaboration with hiring authorities
  • Screen, interview, and refer qualified applicants to hiring managers
  • Support recruitment advertising efforts across print and web platforms for routine and specialized roles
  • Evaluate candidate capabilities and negotiate starting salaries in accordance with compensation guidelines
  • Serve as a knowledgeable advisor to hiring managers regarding job qualifications and hiring decisions
  • Collaborate with HR Compensation to execute offers and ensure alignment with compensation philosophy
  • Educate managers on job profiles, minimum qualifications, and market competitiveness
  • Track recruiting metrics, including time to fill, sourcing effectiveness, offer declines, and candidate flow
  • Represent Human Resources on committees, task groups, and departmental initiatives
  • Provide recruitment‑related training and guidance to managers and HR staff
  • Analyze recruiting data, trends, and best practices to support data-driven workforce planning
  • Support the development of retention strategies and programs in partnership with department leaders
