About The Position

S.P.A.C.E. Camp Lower Classroom teachers provides instruction for incoming K-4th grade students within the camp setting. Teachers plan and teach fun and project-based lessons focused on a specific course. Hours of work are 8:45 am - 3:45 pm, with a half-hour lunch break.

Requirements

• Experience in a classroom setting
• Teaching Background
• Teaching degree/certification strongly desired

Responsibilities

• Responsible for 5-15 students ages K-4th grade
• Teach and support students in specific courses they are teaching
• Create and implement curriculum related to course subject or theme
• Coordinate and collaborate with special education staff to support students with disabilities
• Consistent, reliable and punctual attendance is essential for supervision and instruction of the students
• Responsible for implementing “other job-related duties” as needed
