About The Position

As a Safety Engineer , you will implement our safety program to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment on assigned projects.

Requirements

• OSHA 30-hour construction certification required.
• A degree in safety management, occupational health and safety, or a related field is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a dedicated safety role or 5+ years of experience in the construction industry.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Practical experience in employee safety training.
• Technical working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office suite (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) as well as industry related programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams in establishing jobsite specific safety programs.
• Coach workforce on proper safety procedures and processes.
• Provide safety solutions to technical safety challenges in the field.
• Perform jobsite audits and incident investigations.
• Conduct training sessions.
• Network with local safety groups and associations.
