Internship Overview We are seeking a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in workplace safety, compliance, and environmental sustainability. This internship is an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills and contribute to creating a safer and more efficient manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Must at least be a Sophomore level to be considered
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and perform site inspections.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards, OSHA regulations, and environmental compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting workplace safety inspections and hazard assessments.
  • Support the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures.
  • Participate in safety training sessions and awareness programs for employees.
  • Help track and analyze safety performance metrics (incidents, near misses, audits).
  • Assist in investigating accidents, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Support environmental initiatives such as waste management, energy efficiency, and sustainability programs.
  • Maintain and update safety records, permits, and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with production teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
