About The Position

Temp To Full-Time Must have a valid driver license with a clean driving record Must have reliable transportation to and from work Must be able and willing to work out of town and out of state for long periods of time - it is a requirement Must have 4-5 years in construction safety, and experience with concrete, structural steel, or heavy civil work Job Duties include but not limited too: On-Site Monitoring: Remain present while coworkers perform job tasks. Risk Mitigation: Evaluate hazards related to trenching, excavation, working at elevations, and heavy equipment, ext. Inspections & Audits: Perform daily site walkthroughs to enforce safety protocols and ensure compliant PPE usage. Documentation: Maintain daily logs of operations, near-miss reports, and incident investigations. Training & Communication: Lead tailgate meetings, new hire orientations, and safety training. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with company / client, OSHA, EPA, and local regulations, and assist with, or lead, incident investigations.

Requirements

• Certifications: OSHA 10-hour training is required
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, and incident investigation practices.
• Skills: Ability to identify, document, and correct hazards; strong communication skills to influence safety culture.
