About The Position

Varsity Mulching is a fast-growing seasonal home services company focused on delivering a premium, highly organized mulching experience each spring. As we scale, we’re looking for a Sales & Admin Representative to serve as the first point of contact for customers and play a key role in converting inbound leads into booked jobs. This role is primarily about answering the phone, guiding homeowners through their property, and closing sales. If you enjoy talking to people, solving problems in real time, and closing deals, this role is a great fit.

Requirements

Strong sales and closing ability
Excellent phone presence and customer service skills
Comfort spending much of the day on the phone
Ability to clearly explain visual/property information to homeowners
Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
You build trust quickly and communicate clearly
You’re comfortable owning results, especially sales outcomes
You’re calm, professional, and confident with customers
You’re coachable and take feedback well

Nice To Haves

General familiarity with landscaping terminology (mulch, edging, beds, shrubs, etc.) is a plus

Responsibilities

Answer inbound phone calls from homeowners requesting quotes or information
Walk customers through their property using our measuring software and explain what you see
Confidently convert inbound leads into booked jobs
Route calls to the correct team member when needed
Provide clear, professional customer service and follow-up
Accurately log notes, outcomes, and customer details in our CRM
