About The Position

As a member of the Sales team, you will be supporting the Sales Managers and the Director of Sales by performing the following administrative duties in a fast-paced professional environment. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability needed to perform this position successfully. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required. An Associates degree from two-year college or university preferred. Or one to two years related experience and/or training or the equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Ability to utilize various software systems including but not limited to; Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe.
  • The employee is occasionally required to lift/pull/push up to 10 pounds.
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Handles preliminary client inquiries regarding sales, conventions, and group bookings and evaluates needs.
  • Handles the general Sales phone line to take phone leads and direct calls to the appropriate individuals and/or departments.
  • Meet deadlines and complete task in a timely manner.
  • Supplies customers with conference packets and/or emailed documents that include appropriate information as requested by manager.
  • Prepares eProposals for review by the manager
  • Creates customer accounts and bookings using Delphi software system.
  • Maintain manager’s client database using Delphi.
  • Assists in sales travel needs including mailing materials and expense reports
  • Prepares proposals, contracts and letters.
  • Creates files, memos, and other correspondence as requested.
  • Properly files paperwork and creates digital files for definite programs.
  • Completes the Definite Checklist and collects initial deposit
  • Responds to email and voicemail on a daily basis.
  • Maintain a good relationship with the manager’s clients and operational department head
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned
