About The Position

Clements Fluids is seeking a Sales & Market Intelligence Analyst supports the Sales organization by transforming commercial, operational, and market data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth and customer value. This role analyzes sales performance, customer trends, and market activity to support forecasting, territory strategy, pricing decisions, and strategic initiatives. The position partners closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations to translate data into practical insights that improve decision-making and strengthen the company’s competitive position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in one of the following areas: Engineering (Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial preferred) Data Science or Analytics Statistics or Applied Mathematics Computer Science or Information Systems Business Analytics or related quantitative field
  • Engineering backgrounds with strong analytical and data capabilities are strongly encouraged due to the technical nature of the oil and gas industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, commercial analytics, or business intelligence
  • Experience working with large datasets across multiple systems (ERP, CRM, operational data)
  • Experience with visualization and data storytelling
  • Skilled in extracting and analyzing data using Structured Query Language (SQL).
  • Detail-oriented with a focus for data accuracy and integrity
  • Proficiency in using analytic programming languages.
  • Track record of creative problem solving, and quick response to requests for data analyses.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including effective communication both verbally and in writing with management and coworkers.
  • Strong ability to manage projects independently, prioritize tasks, and adhere to established timelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills accompanied by excellent consultative skills
  • Ability to complete projects and achieve results in an ambiguous work environment.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting sales organizations, commercial strategy, or revenue analytics preferred
  • Experience building forecasting models or predictive analytics preferred
  • Experience in oil & gas, energy services, manufacturing, or industrial markets strongly preferred
  • Commercial & Technical Curiosity
  • Ability to understand how operational processes, product performance, and customer requirements influence commercial outcomes in a technical industry.
