UTE is a trusted leader in the metalworking industry, specializing in the sale, installation, training, and service of advanced metalworking equipment. Our product focus includes CNC tube benders, fiber tube lasers, fiber sheet lasers, and press brakes. We are committed to providing high‑quality tooling solutions supported by expert service and training. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and hands‑on Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our revenue‑generating functions and strengthen our presence across the metalworking market. The Sales and Marketing Manager oversees both sales and marketing operations, managing: 5 sales professionals 2 internal marketing team members An external marketing agency All trade shows and industry event activities This role requires a blend of leadership, strategic planning, and tactical execution, ideal for someone who thrives in a technical, high‑performance environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or marketing leadership, ideally in the industrial, manufacturing, tooling, or metalworking sectors.
  • Strong experience with cold outreach strategies and CRM‑driven sales processes.
  • HubSpot experience preferred, but not required (willingness to learn is essential).
  • Proven ability to manage teams and external partners.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
  • Experience planning and executing trade shows or major industry events.
  • Technical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment categories (CNC tube benders, lasers, press brakes, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of 5 sales representatives to achieve individual and team revenue targets.
  • Develop and manage sales strategies, forecasting, pipelines, and performance KPIs.
  • Implement effective cold outreach campaigns, including email, phone, and blended prospecting approaches.
  • Ensure proper CRM usage, reporting accuracy, and adherence to sales processes.
  • Oversee a two‑person marketing team and coordinate efforts with an outside marketing company.
  • Guide digital marketing, content creation, lead generation campaigns, and branding initiatives.
  • Analyze data and campaign performance to drive marketing ROI.
  • Ensure alignment between sales and marketing to support unified growth strategies.
  • Oversee CRM processes and ensure seamless integration with sales and marketing workflows.
  • UTE uses HubSpot, experience is preferred but not required (training will be provided).
  • Develop workflows, lead‑scoring models, automated sequences, and reporting dashboards.
  • Monitor and refine cold outreach and nurturing campaigns to improve engagement and conversion rates.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all trade show logistics, including scheduling, budgeting, booth design, travel, and materials.
  • Lead pre‑show marketing efforts and post‑show follow-up workflows.
  • Represent the UTE brand at events alongside members of the sales team.
  • Work closely with leadership and technical teams to understand product capabilities and customer needs.
  • Coordinate cross-functional work on demos, training support, product positioning, and customer experience initiatives.
