About The Position

Western Microsurgical specializes in the sale, service, maintenance and repair of Leica surgical microscopes, serving hospitals, surgery centers, and physicians in the specialties of ENT, Plastics, Ophthalmology and Neurosurgery. Perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the department and/or managers and supervisors to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization.

Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor’s degree required.
Strong customer service skills.
Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Self-starter who works well independently
Attention to detail.
Desire to be proactive and create a positive work environment for others.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Order fulfillment – processing incoming orders for warehouse products, invoicing the customer and shipping the product
Responds independently to assigned tasks and projects.
Maintain polite and professional communication via phone and e-mail.
Anticipates the needs of management, sales force, and service technicians.
Answer phones in a professional manner and direct calls to appropriate persons or take detailed messages.
Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system.
Supplies excellent level of customer service using clear and concise communication skills.
Ensure office is kept clean and organized at all times.
Put new products into our accounting program / update pricing for previous products.
Contact facility Purchasing Departments to initiate process in order to be set-up as a Vendor in their system.
Prepare invoices for products sold to the purchasing facility.
Help assist the Accountant, Service Manager, Sales Reps and Managing Partner with any tasks and or projects that need to be completed.
Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
