About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented sales assistant to support our growing sales team at our corporate headquarters in Hockely, Texas. This role plays a key part in customer relationships, sales support, and business growth, offering hands- on experience in a fast- paced, team- oriented environment. This is a full-time position located at our company's headquarters in Hockley, Texas.

Requirements

  • College degree preferred
  • One (1) to three (3) years of sales experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Above average people skills

  • Available for travel out of state and country/
  • Team player, ability to work in a group to achieve common goals and strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in managing customer accounts.
  • Visits customers when needed.
  • Analyzes sales and market information.
  • Monitors market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and activity.
  • Identifies and solves sales related problems.
  • Prepares monthly sales reports and provides periodic sales forecasts.
  • Prepares sales presentations by compiling data and developing presentation formats and materials.
  • Resolves order and inventory problems by investigating data and history; identifying alternate means for filling orders; and notifying manager and customers.
  • Provides product, promotion, and pricing information by clarifying customer requests, selecting appropriate information, forwarding information, and answering questions.
  • Identifies prospective customers by using business directories and on-line sources and following leads from existing clients.
  • Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise.
  • Provides customers with product samples and catalogs and recommends products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.
  • Performs administrative duties, such as contacting customers that are delinquent on accounts, keeping sales records.
  • Helps arrange trade shows, such as samples, materials, etc.
  • Other duties, tasks, and responsibilities that may be assigned at any time.
