About The Position

LaForce, a leading provider of commercial doors, frames, and hardware, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Consultant to join our team in Indianapolis, IN . This role is focused on driving new business growth by actively prospecting in the commercial construction and facilities industries. You will identify opportunities, develop accounts, and provide tailored product solutions. With the full cycle sales mindset, you'll also focus on building long-term customer relationships, providing exceptional service, and working as part of a collaborative team. What You'll Do: As an Outside Sales Consultant , you will be the primary point of contact for facility managers, property owners/managers, and construction professionals. Your focus will be on understanding each customer's unique needs and delivering the right door and hardware solutions to meet those requirements. Key responsibilities include: Developing and managing customer relationships within your assigned territory Identifying sales opportunities through prospecting and networking Recommending product solutions and preparing proposals Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution See what the role looks like in action: Watch the video What You’ll Bring We’re looking for someone with a bachelor's degree and 2–4 years of sales experience (or a mix of experience and education), strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. 2-5 years of military experience is also considered as a substitute for relevant sales experience. A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are necessary. Requirements
