Peloton is looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to engage customers in the US oil and gas market. This role is ideal for early‑career professionals who want exposure to the energy industry while building foundational skills in sales, business development, and customer engagement. An engineering background is preferred—but not required. If you’re curious, driven, and excited to learn, we want to hear from you. As an SDR, you’ll play a key role in building our sales pipeline by connecting with prospective customers, learning their challenges, and facilitating meaningful conversations about Peloton’s solutions.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate or early‑career professional (0–2 years of experience).
  • Engineering degree preferred but technical, or business degree will be considered
  • Strong communication skills and comfort speaking with professionals.
  • Curious, organized, and eager to learn.
  • Comfortable using (or learning) tools like CRM systems, LinkedIn, and sales technology.
  • Self‑motivated with a desire to grow into a commercial or account management role.

Nice To Haves

  • Internship or co‑op exposure to oil and gas is an asset.
  • Bilingualism in English and Spanish is an asset but not required

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify target companies aligned with Peloton’s solutions.
  • Execute outbound communication through email, phone, LinkedIn, and post‑event follow‑ups.
  • Maintain consistent outreach activity aligned with performance goals.
  • Conduct introductory discovery calls to understand:
  • Business needs and technical environment
  • Current systems and workflows
  • Key challenges and pain points
  • Decision‑making structure and timelines
  • Accurately track contacts, activities, and notes in CRM System.
  • Insights from customer conversations
  • Industry trends, etc.
  • Learn and apply best practices for data quality and CRM discipline.
  • Support targeted sales campaigns related to:
  • Product launches
  • Industry events
  • Cross‑sell initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Business Development on structured outreach programs.
  • Lead structured follow‑up from:
  • Trade shows
  • Webinars
  • User conferences
  • Executive roundtables
  • Convert marketing engagement into qualified sales conversations.
