About The Position

Sell customized and/or template layouts for Body In White Production systems used in vehicle production and other manufactured products. Apply experience in the design, validation, and optimization of robotic welding systems, assemble fixtures, and conveyor layouts for BODY IN WHITE to translate the customers’ technical needs and requests to the engineering design team and/or suggest templated layouts to clients based on their needs. Develop, present, and respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions. Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support. Apply extensive technical expertise in Body In White Production systems and support for installation and use, such as automated assembly lines and cells, production machines, Programable Logic Controllers and robots. Create technical proposals and pricing templates for automation solutions. Deliver technical presentations to explain products and services to customers. Generate high-quality sales leads, follow up on initial contact, and secure and renew orders. Create sales or service contracts for custom automation systems, industrial machinery, and control systems. Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs. Interpret and analyze technical drawings, schematics, and specifications of mechanical systems for implementation into production lines. Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) to develop technical presentation and proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and production line solutions. Identify and coordinate with supplier partners at an early stage in order to leverage resources throughout the proposal phase. Assist in the negotiation process, sales completion, and delivery coordination. Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery. Document account activities, generate reports, and keep records of business transactions with customers and suppliers. Analyze costs and sales data to inform business strategies. Develop standard controls pricing templates and technical documentation to be utilized in proposal development. Provide after-sales support and assist customers with installed products. Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and AS 9100 certification guidelines. Train sales team members on the technical aspects of company products and services. Maintain knowledge of FFT Quality Management standards and company protocols.

Requirements

  • Candidate must have a Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering and 2 years of experience in designing, validating, and optimizing robotic welding systems, assembly fixtures, and conveyor layouts for BODY IN WHITE production.
  • Must have experience in: Utilizing CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) to develop technical presentation and proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and production line solutions.
  • Creating technical proposals and pricing templates for automation solutions.
  • Ensuring adherence to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and AS 9100 certification guidelines.
  • Creating sales or service contracts for custom automation systems, industrial machinery, and control systems.
