About The Position

The Sales Excellence Data Intern will support the Sales Excellence team by assisting with reporting, dashboard development, and data analysis activities. This role provides hands-on experience working with business stakeholders and analytics tools to help improve reporting, data quality, and decision-making across the organization. The intern will work under the guidance of experienced analysts and managers to learn how business requirements are translated into reporting solutions.

Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Foundational understanding of data concepts (e.g., tables, fields, relationships) or strong interest in learning data modeling principles
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and data organization; familiarity with other Microsoft Office products
Ability to manage time effectively and meet assigned project milestones with guidance
Alignment with company values
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field

Nice To Haves

Exposure to SQL, data analysis, or reporting tools through coursework, projects, or internships preferred
Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools is a plus but not required
Familiarity with sales processes a plus

Responsibilities

Assist in building and enhancing dashboards and reports using modern BI tools to support business teams.
Support data preparation activities for reporting and analysis.
Help gather and document business requirements for reporting needs.
Collaborate with Sales Excellence and IT team members to validate data accuracy and consistency.
Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure reports are reliable.
Assist with testing dashboards and reports prior to release.
Help document reporting logic, definitions, and best practices.
Support training materials or basic user guides for reports and dashboards.
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and basic insights for business stakeholders.
Performs other duties as required and/or assigned.
