About The Position

The Sales Insights & Analytics Intern will support initiatives that strengthen insight-driven selling capabilities across the organization. This role focuses on developing scalable sales enablement resources for foodservice and retail, synthesizing insights into clear and compelling formats, and improving processes for maintaining current, actionable materials. The internship provides hands-on experience in analytics, data visualization, automation, and cross-functional collaboration while supporting more effective commercial decision-making. This intern will be an active participant in the C.H. Guenther Internship Program cohort, receiving mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities. C.H. Guenther is dedicated to delivering an enriching internship experience that goes beyond hands-on work to support long-term professional growth. The intern program will run from June 8 to August 14, 2026.

Requirements

  • Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Research, Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Data Science, or a related field or a first year candidate for a Master’s degree in market Research
  • Proficient use of a computer, Microsoft Office—particularly Microsoft Excel—and other related applications or software.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and support reporting needs.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to learn and navigate vendor portals and internal tools.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of associates and customers ranging from entry level to executive level positions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop insight-based sales enablement resources on strategic topics relevant to customer engagement and business planning.
  • Compile and synthesize insights from internal and approved external data sources, translating findings into concise, visually effective materials.
  • Support data visualization and storytelling, ensuring insights are easy to understand and actionable for commercial teams.
  • Collaborate with Insights & Analytics, Sales, Marketing, and IT partners to ensure materials align with business needs and usability standards.
  • Assist with process improvement and automation efforts to streamline content updates and improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Help document standards, templates, and best practices to support scalable and repeatable insight delivery.
  • Support ad hoc analytics or enablement initiatives that enhance sales readiness and decision support.
