Summer Internship Program Overview Cardinal Health’s Summer Internship Program is a structured 10-12 week experience designed for undergraduate students who will be entering their senior year and are eager to make an impact. Each intern also serves on a planning committee to enhance leadership skills and concludes the summer by presenting their work to business leaders. Professional Development Interns participate in a formal mentoring program, connect with employees across the organization, and attend workshops to strengthen business acumen. The program also provides opportunities to explore full-time career paths. Networking Opportunities Through the Executive Speaker Series and various networking events, interns engage with senior leaders and build relationships with professionals across the company. Job Description Summary Location: Dublin, Ohio Start Date: May 18 or 26, 2026 Hours: Approximately 40 hours a week for a minimum of 10 weeks Assistance with temporary housing is provided for students not local to the internship location. Sales Operations is responsible for supporting the sales organization and driving operational excellence in order to achieve the strategic and sales objectives established by the sales organization. This includes sales tools/productivity improvement, customer contract administration, and business metrics/analytics. As a Sales Intern, you could potentially support the organization in several of the following ways: Support the inside sales team by identifying, qualifying, and researching potential customer leads Scour company pipelines to identify gaps, emerging opportunities, and areas where services can provide value Conduct outbound outreach to prospective clients, highlighting research capabilities and value propositions Support senior team members by passing along high‑potential leads for deeper engagement and deal closure Participate in business development calls to observe client discussions and understand how leads transition into formal opportunities Potential for cold‑calling outreach depending on workload and intern skillset Collaborate with senior colleagues to refine targeting strategies, improve outreach effectiveness, and identify new areas for research-driven growth Update and maintain CRM records to ensure accurate documentation of customer interactions and sales activities Participate in projects that improve sales workflows, pricing models, or go-to-market strategy Other duties upon request
