About The Position

As our Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving revenue growth across key countries in East Africa and South Africa. The role focuses on developing strategic partnerships, engaging with government stakeholders, and closing complex deals across the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of East Africa and South Africa markets and their political and cultural environments.
  • Strong network of partners and government contacts across the region.
  • Proven track record of closing complex, tender-driven deals with long sales cycles.
  • Experience structuring complex deals (consortiums, joint ventures, PPP models).
  • Strong ability to navigate multi-layered decision-making and align internal stakeholders.
  • 10+ years of sales experience within the region.
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with government identity solutions and identity ecosystems (biometrics, PKI, secure documents) is preferred.
  • Swahili is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy across assigned countries.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with government entities, partners, and enterprise customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Lead complex sales cycles from opportunity identification to deal closure.
  • Structure and negotiate strategic and high-value commercial agreements.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline across priority markets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (legal, technical, bid, leadership) to ensure successful deal execution.
  • Represent the company in high-level engagements with customers, partners, and government stakeholders.
  • Achieve revenue targets and support the company’s regional growth strategy.
