About The Position

Position Summary: Manages the daily operations of the sales department located within the store and assigned satellite stores. Assists Outside Sales Representatives in quoting and implementing deals. Develops new prospects and interacts with customers to increase sales of company product offerings and services. Essential Functions: 1. Plans, directs and schedules the activities of the Inside Sales Representatives. Trains employees on new sales and marketing campaigns to increase sales opportunities. Schedules store coverage. 2. Assists customer in selecting the appropriate product for the need. May suggest add-ons and options to meet that need by applying sales techniques. Determines interior and exterior product placements. 3. Familiar with the standard concepts, practices and procedures in the demonstration and sale of lawn and garden equipment and motor vehicles including financing and contract preparation. 4. Develops quotations for customers using established guidelines. Consults with President on any special considerations. Provides guidance to Outside Sales Representatives in deal preparation. Obtains final information for deals from all sales personnel. Coordinates assembly of units sold with Service dept. 5. Negotiates with manufacturers to determine product offerings, quantities, prices and deliveries. Initiates orders and maintains optimal product inventory levels. Other Functions: 1. Attends fairs and trade shows to present company product offerings. 2. Directs Customer Satisfaction programs for feedback and to develop other sales opportunities. 3. Other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent
  • 3-6 years in equipment sales or in a related field
  • Sales and marketing skills, supervisory and management skills.
  • Knowledge of contracts, financing arrangements and titling, demonstration of equipment.
