About The Position

Discord is used by over 200 million people every month for many different reasons, but there’s one thing that nearly everyone does on our platform: play video games. Over 90% of our users play games, spending a combined 1.5 billion hours playing thousands of unique titles on Discord each month. Discord plays a uniquely important role in the future of gaming. We are focused on making it easier and more fun for people to talk and hang out before, during, and after playing games. We're looking for a Sales Operations Manager to serve as a strategic partner to our sales leadership team. In this role, you'll own the systems, processes, and analytics that enable our sales organization to operate efficiently and hit ambitious revenue targets. You'll work cross-functionally to drive forecasting accuracy, optimize territory and account strategies, and ensure our teams have the insights they need to succeed.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or pricing and yield management in digital media and advertising.
  • Proven track record of developing analysis, insights, and recommendations for a sales org.
  • Ability to be nimble and manage competing priorities in a zero to 1 environment and a fast sales growing team.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
  • Deep experience in the ad industry and ad tech ecosystem.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and proficiency in sales analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma counties). Relocation assistance may be available.

Responsibilities

  • Own revenue forecasting and pipeline management, delivering accurate weekly and monthly projections to leadership and identifying risks and opportunities early
  • Partner with sales leadership on territory design, account segmentation, and coverage models to maximize revenue potential and seller productivity
  • Lead the annual and quarterly quota-setting process, ensuring targets are data-driven, equitable, and aligned with business objectives
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting that give sales leaders visibility into team performance, pipeline health, and key business metrics
  • Analyze sales cycle trends, win/loss patterns, and conversion rates to surface actionable insights that improve sales effectiveness
  • Drive continuous improvement of sales processes, tools, and workflows to reduce friction and increase selling time
  • Support strategic initiatives including new market expansion, sales team scaling, and go-to-market optimization
