About The Position

Mercedes-Benz of Selma is seeking a reliable and motivated Sales Porter / Lot Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the presentation of our luxury inventory and ensuring vehicles are properly prepared for display and customer delivery.

The Sales Porter works closely with the Sales Managers, Sales Consultants, and Service Department to maintain dealership organization, cleanliness, and operational efficiency while supporting a best-in-class customer experience.

Requirements

• Automotive dealership experience preferred but not required
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Must be able to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Professional attitude with strong attention to detail
• Positive, team-oriented mindset and willingness to help others
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to work flexible hours including Saturdays
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to pass background screening, MVR check, and drug test
• Ability to stand, walk, and move vehicles for extended periods
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of new and pre-owned vehicle inventory
• Ensure all vehicles on the lot and showroom are clean, presentable, and properly displayed
• Assist in preparing vehicles for customer deliveries
• Transport vehicles between sales, service, detail, and storage areas
• Ensure all vehicles have proper buyer guides, stock tags, and compliance documents
• Verify vehicles are locked, windows closed, and keys returned to the designated key control system
• Assist Sales Managers with vehicle staging and inventory organization
• Maintain dealership driveways, sidewalks, and lot areas by removing debris and maintaining a professional appearance
• Support dealership operations by assisting other departments when needed
• Immediately report any safety concerns, vehicle damage, or unusual activity to management
• Follow all Mercedes-Benz of Selma policies and safety procedures
