We’re actively seeking a talented Sales Process Manager to join our Sales Process Optimization Fusion Team onsite at our Newport Beach, CA or Omaha NE office. As a Sales Process Manager you’ll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by leading a matrixed team to drive sales process strategy and go to market efforts . You will fill an existing role that sits on a team of 6 people in the Consumer Markets division. Your colleagues will include sales support leaders and/or fellow marketing, technology, and product professionals. How you’ll help move us forward: Lead a team while maintaining strong stakeholder focus through structured feedback forums and strong relationships across the organization. Lead effort to improve Salesforce capabilities that optimize user experience with goal of driving sales results. Partner with Sales, Technology, Marketing as well as other stakeholders to shape Salesforce user strategy and corresponding tactical execution. Redesign and reinvent the sales process by leveraging technology, automation, and AI to drive efficiency, increase capacity, and sharpen seller focus on high value activities. Thought leader in go to market strategies with a focus on products/tools. Help form a holistic approach with lens towards seller/buyer experience. Own sales tools strategy. Partner with various teams (marketing, training, product intelligence) on deployment, messaging, positioning. Partner with training and concierge to help drive adoption across sales tools tech stack.

Requirements

  • 8+ years distribution experience in the financial services space with a focus on annuity/life third party distribution.
  • 4yr College degree.
  • Strong understanding and experience with Salesforce
  • Self-driven with ability to work independently and with minimal guidance.
  • Strategic thinker (innovator) with strong communication skills.
  • Comfortable working at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong familiarity with tech stack needed to support sales process and advisors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products & Seismic
  • Ability to lead by influence and not necessarily through a traditional organizational structure.
  • Strong decision making with a keen focus on delivering outcomes.
  • Experience driving agile delivery programs with diverse scope while regularly re-evaluating for value alignment, ROI, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Series 6 or 7, 63 and/or Life Insurance licenses.
