About The Position

The Sales Representative- HVAC Service is responsible for identifying customer needs, developing tailored HVAC service solutions, estimating project scope, and selling commercial service agreements. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, building strong client relationships, and maintaining a healthy backlog of work to support both short- and long-term business objectives. Why Join Us? Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in HVAC, mechanical, or related service sales, including selling owner-direct projects and maintenance agreements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong self-motivation with the ability to generate leads, conduct cold calls, perform follow-ups, and meet with prospective clients.
  • Professional demeanor and presentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of industry trends and competitors.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and take on responsibilities outside the primary scope of work as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field preferred; or equivalent experience with a proven track record in HVAC or mechanical service sales.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and contact potential clients on a weekly basis; accurately document and report all outreach activities and findings.
  • Maintain and regularly update the proposal log.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to generate additional service opportunities, improve profit margins, and protect margins on maintenance and quoted work.
  • Conduct and collect customer satisfaction feedback.
  • Assess customer requirements, prepare estimates, recommend system upgrades, and develop comprehensive service solutions aligned with company offerings.
  • Monitor sales performance and consistently meet or exceed established sales goals.
  • Build and maintain a strong proposal backlog to support achievement of the sales plan.
  • Develop and nurture long-term client relationships to promote repeat business and brand loyalty.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of company services to effectively present and close sales opportunities.
  • Support the team in developing and executing strategic sales initiatives.
