Sales Representative

Rock Paper Simple, LLCMelbourne, FL
1d$60,000 - $70,000

About The Position

The Sales Representative is a revenue-driving role responsible for executing and managing the full sales cycle—from first contact through signed agreement—within a defined, repeatable system. This is not a “lead taker” or purely transactional position. You will actively prospect, qualify opportunities, run discovery, close deals, and maintain a healthy pipeline. You’ll be expected to operate independently, stay organized inside the CRM, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our sales process as the company scales. This role is ideal for someone who understands that strong sales performance comes from discipline, follow-through, and ownership—not guesswork.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a pipeline and close deals independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence leading sales conversations.
  • Experience using CRM systems (Pipedrive preferred; Apollo or similar tools a plus).
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and time management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment with clear expectations.
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and accountable for results.

Responsibilities

  • Own the sales process from initial outreach through close, ensuring a professional and consistent client experience.
  • Conduct structured discovery and sales meetings to assess client needs and determine fit.
  • Prepare, present, and revise proposals that clearly align scope, pricing, and expectations.
  • Follow up consistently with prospects and active opportunities to drive decisions forward.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales targets and pipeline activity expectations.
  • Proactively generate new opportunities through outbound outreach, including cold calls, email campaigns, and follow-ups.
  • Respond promptly to inbound leads from the website, email, and phone, qualifying and scheduling sales conversations.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in Pipedrive, including notes, next steps, deal stages, and close probability.
  • Manage a predictable pipeline by maintaining required activity levels and conversion benchmarks.
  • Adhere to established sales workflows, qualification standards, and handoff procedures.
  • Partner with the Client Experience Director and internal team members to ensure smooth transitions from sales to onboarding and execution.
  • Identify gaps or inefficiencies in the sales process and propose practical improvements.
  • Participate in regular sales reviews, forecasting, and performance check-ins.
  • Represent the company professionally in virtual and in-person networking environments as needed.
  • Build long-term relationships with prospects and referral partners to support sustained pipeline growth.
  • Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships or community engagement that align with company goals.
