About The Position

SanTan Brewing Company is looking for Sales Representative to join our team to support and grow Brewery and Distillery business in the Central to Western portion of Phoenix Metro and Western AZ. Located in the Phoenix metro’s East Valley, SanTan was founded in 2007 in downtown Chandler, where we continue to operate a 15bbl brewery & restaurant in our original location. In 2013, we added a production facility with a 50-bbl brewhouse, where we package beer in both cans and draft. SanTan branched out to distilled spirits in 2017 and in 2019 expanded to include Spirit House; a cocktail-driven bar with a delicious food menu, lounge-like atmosphere and knowledgeable, approachable staff. A clear departure from the standard craft cocktail bar, Spirit House aims to demystify the world of distilling and flavor pairing through friendly education and quality service. We're devoted to uncommon quality for everyday occasions and we are looking for eager, energetic and friendly team members who share our vision!

Requirements

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Valid Driver’s License, proof of insurance and be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
  • Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety and efficiency, constantly evaluating work practices in the spirit of “always improving.”
  • Communicate effectively and openly with team members
  • Multi-task and follow standard operating procedures
  • Bend, crawl, twist, turn, lift, kneel, climb ladders and stairs
  • Stand for prolonged periods
  • Work indoors and outdoors
  • Regularly lift/carry objects (35 lbs.) repeatedly and safely above waist-level
  • Occasionally move heavy objects (165 lbs.) with a hand-truck or pallet-jack

Nice To Haves

  • Ideal candidates would have 1-2 years of proven results in sales and/or 1 year in an alcohol related industry.
  • Any experience managing Distributor/Supplier relationships is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the SanTan Brewing and Distilling portfolio in the assigned territory across on and off premise accounts.
  • Maintain constant market visitation schedule, tracked through monthly goals, within assigned territory for both on/off premise accounts
  • Achieve monthly/ quarterly sales goals tracked by VIP iDig + Karma sales management.
  • Utilize VIP iDig Karma to track account notes, follow up on commitments and support sales objectives.
  • Develop existing and new accounts utilizing VIP to implement sales strategies in order to increase distribution and brand presence.
  • Implement marketing and brand awareness programs to support sales. This includes: promotions, food pairings, tastings, beer dinners, merchandising, POS, craft beer education presentations for customers and consumers, and special events.
  • Assist distributors with sales and marketing of all products.
  • Work with retailers to pull sales through distributors and monitor fulfillment.
  • Provide weekly summary reports and execution status of monthly business objectives to SanTan Brewing Company management and Ownership.
  • Availability to work a flexible full-time schedule with evenings and weekend work. Plus, attend/work mandatory SanTan events.
