Essential Job Duties: Meets and exceeds established sales expectations and goals Manages the sales process from initial inquiry to closing by effectively promoting the community to the prospect. Facilitates the process by understanding needs and independently making recommendations based on key information provided. Negotiates obstacles and issues by understanding client needs and collaborating with community management. Effectively responds to new inquiries in a timely manner Independently manages prospect inquiries and ensures that timely follow-through is maintained in accordance with designated time frames. In accordance with established standards and procedures for the Sales & Marketing department, secures the sale with Residency Agreements through initiating contacts, making phone calls, conducting tours of the community, visiting homes of prospective residents, as well as financial and legal advisors as requested by prospective residents, and conducts follow-up correspondences, including securing the initial deposit and signatures to reserve a residence, as well as follow through until move-in. Maintain detailed documentation about interactions with potential residents and their influencers in reports and the CRM Responsible for assisting new sales personnel, through a team approach, with training on all functions of the sales department including, but not limited to: use of the CRM and SeniorSign software, sales strategies and techniques, building layout, residence floor plans, policies/procedures, residency agreements, resident move-ins, interaction with other departments, licensed care policies/procedures, general knowledge, purpose, benefits of, and participation in prospect events. Communicates to prospective residents, current residents, guests/visitors, and staff a comprehensive knowledge of the concept, spirit, and purpose of the Village, including the available services and costs, inventory, Residency Agreement terms and qualifications, organizational structure, etc. Responsible for maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of, communicating, and implementing all policies and procedures governing the Residency Agreements and admission criteria/standards. Plans, implements and keeps records for sales programs, including referral sources, client contact information, application forms, occupancy/move-in procedures, etc. Promotes teamwork within the sales department and between other departments, through open communications, welcoming new hires, properly informing residents and staff of current happenings, move-in’s, etc., and assisting whenever and wherever needed to ensure smooth operations and high quality service to residents and coworkers. Assists in conducting sales and marketing-related events and functions. Communicates regularly with Sales Director to ensure all facility, departmental and safety-related policies and procedures are known and followed, and to ensure that all duties performed by sales are customer service oriented at all times to all residents, coworkers, guests and vendors. Advises and consults with the Sales Director regarding potential residents, sales, policies & procedures, and agreements. May perform duties of any other position, as circumstances require. Serves as resource for departments regarding sales related issues, customer service issues, etc. Attends and/or participates in meetings, seminars and committees as needed and/or as directed by the Sales Director. Attends mandatory in-service training and education programs. Maintains current knowledge of services and programs offered by facilities competing with Friendship Village of Dublin. Qualifications: Four (4) year degree in Business, Communication, Marketing or equivalent from an accredited college or university, or a combination of experience and training. Ability to travel if needed. Two (2) to five (5) years experience in, sales and/or training, Healthcare, senior living industry or long-term care environment preferred. Experience in Senior Living preferred, and Life Plan and/or LifeCare Community a plus Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
