How you'll have an impact at Kinder’s: The Sales Strategy Analyst will play a critical support role in developing, analyzing, and enabling the execution of Kinder's sales strategy. This position involves performing data-driven analysis to inform key decisions across merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelving (MAPS) strategies and tactics, ensuring alignment with overall business and brand objectives. They help ensure sales plans are aligned, customer-ready, and grounded in data.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to translate complex data sets into clear, concise insights.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas) and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and excel in a highly cross-functional environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in an analytical role within Sales Strategy, Sales Planning or Trade Marketing, preferably within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or Food & Beverage industry.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, Circana) is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with shopper and household panel data (e.g., Numerator) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with retail account planning processes and category management is a plus.
  • Experience working in and/or supporting Grocery and Natural channel(s) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Analysis & Planning Support Conduct detailed quantitative analysis of sales performance, market trends, competitive activity, and promotional effectiveness to provide actionable insights for the Sales Strategy team.
  • Assist in the development and modeling of annual sales plans and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and efficiency within current sales channels and customer accounts based on data analysis.
  • Pricing, Promotion, and Trade Support Gather, organize, and analyze data to support the modeling and development of pricing, promotional, and trade strategies.
  • Track trade spending effectiveness and help monitor adherence to established budgets and account-level trade targets.
  • Execution Tracking & Reporting Own the creation and distribution of routine sales performance reports, dashboards, and key performance indicator (KPI) tracking.
  • Support the preparation of materials and presentations for quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and executive summaries.
  • Monitor and report on the execution and adherence to strategic directives (e.g., merchandising guidance, SKU priorities) by the Sales and Broker teams.
  • Develop compelling selling stories leveraging brand/shopper plans and syndicated data to support the Sales team in driving distribution and optimizing in store presence.
  • Go-To-Market (GTM) Enablement Assist in the planning and execution of go-to-market strategies for new product launches and line extensions, ensuring sales teams have the necessary analytical support and materials.
  • Support the cross-functional communication of strategic business objectives and priorities to internal partners (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations).
