About The Position

We are looking for a Sales Support Specialist to join our growing Commercial One-Stop Lighting team! This role reports to the Support Staff Supervisor. The One-Stop team is responsible for implementing commercial rebate programs in Xcel Energy territory. As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for data entry, managing internal and external partner relationships, and responding to auditor and vendor requests in a timely manner. This position does not have any direct reports.

Requirements

• Relevant bachelor's degree or 2 years of commercial lighting experience
• Commercial lighting experience or the ability to quickly learn and apply technical information
• Ability to operate standard office equipment
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to customized software programs and solutions
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow direction, take initiative, and work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to produce accurate, high-quality work while balancing urgent timelines
• Values and demonstrates integrity, teamwork, capacity for learning, and results-orientation

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a sales support role

Responsibilities

• Data Entry Interpret and accurately enter proposals from auditors/vendors
• Process change orders
• Generate reports for auditor review
• Send out reports and program correspondence
• Review work and request changes from contractors and other partners.
• Program Support Build constructive and effective relationships with program staff, vendors, and participants using diplomacy and tact
• Respond to auditor/vendor requests for emails, faxes, and follow-up calls in a timely manner
• Gain a complete understanding of program processes and policies to answer questions and serve as back-up during vacations and busy periods
• Complete administrative tasks as needed
• Job Tracking & Updating Utilize Salesforce to update work stages and lifecycles
• Interpret reports and data to ensure accuracy and that all jobs are accounted for
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all assigned work and its place in the job life cycle
