About The Position

Blackthorn.io builds powerful native Salesforce applications that help organizations manage events, payments, and messaging at scale. As a Salesforce Administrator, you'll be the backbone of our internal Salesforce instance, ensuring our team has the tools, data, and automations they need to deliver exceptional experiences to our customers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience
  • Active Salesforce Administrator certification
  • Proficiency in building complex Flows, managing integrations, and troubleshooting issues independently
  • Experience in a B2B SaaS environment with an understanding of subscription business metrics
  • Strong experience working cross-functionally to support marketing, sales, and finance stakeholders
  • Strong English communication skills for collaboration across time zones
  • Curiosity and an ownership mindset, you proactively identify platform improvements rather than waiting to be asked

  • Familiarity with our tech stack or Blackthorn products is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize our Salesforce environment, serving as the primary point of contact for all platform-related needs
  • Manage user access, security settings, and permissions while maintaining data integrity across the organization
  • Build and refine automations using Flow to streamline business processes
  • Create custom reports and dashboards that drive decision-making across teams
  • Handle ongoing system maintenance, including sandbox management and release updates, and proactively identify and manage areas of technical debt
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing, along with outside agencies and contractors, to translate business requirements into scalable solutions
  • Document processes and configurations to ensure institutional knowledge is preserved as we grow
