About The Position

We are seeking a Salesforce Technical Project Manager to join our team supporting large, complex Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE) operating across multiple business areas, contractors, and Salesforce orgs. In this role you will be central to driving architectural initiatives, ensuring consistent governance, and supporting strategic platform improvements across an enterprise Salesforce ecosystem that includes 250+ applications, 8 Salesforce orgs, and multiple Service Integrators (SIs). This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is a technically strong, analytically minded professional who can bridge business needs with architectural direction, operate confidently alongside Salesforce architects, and keep complex initiatives organized, documented, and moving forward.

Requirements

  • Public TrustClearanceor ability to obtaina Public Trust.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce business analysis, technical analysis, or project/program coordination.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture concepts (e.g., data modeling, integrations, security, sharing, multi-org strategy, DevOps).
  • Experience working in multi-org,multiSIenvironments with complex governance structures.
  • Proven ability to document technical and architectural requirements with precision.
  • Proficiencywith Salesforce tools (Flows, Reports, Dashboards, Schema Builder) and project tools (Jira, Confluence, Asana, MS Project).
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and facilitation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce certifications (Admin, Business Analyst, Platform App Builder, or Architecture-related certs).
  • Project or business analysis certifications (PMP, CBAP,SAFe, CSM).
  • Experience inaSalesforceCOE supporting federal agencies or government contracting.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and governance models.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Salesforce architects to capture, refine, and document architectural strategies, standards, and improvement initiatives.
  • Translate architectural concepts—such as integration patterns, data governance, security models, and org strategy—into clear requirements, work items, and actionable plans.
  • Track progress of architectural initiatives across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with COE priorities and enterprise platform strategy.
  • Facilitatecrossteamcollaboration between architects, developers, product owners, and SI partners to drive initiative execution.
  • Maintain and evolve COE governance documentation, including design standards, intake processes, release policies, and development best practices.
  • Ensure governance expectations are clearly communicated to internal teams, SI partners, and client stakeholders.
  • Monitor compliance with governance processes and support continuous refinement to meet changes in scale, complexity, and operational needs.
  • Support the COE in enforcing architecture review processes, decision logs, and documentation standards.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of business needs, technical requirements, and platform dependencies for initiativesimpactingmultiple orgs or applications.
  • Create user stories, acceptance criteria, technical documentation, process maps, and system interaction diagrams supporting architectural outcomes.
  • Ensure platform requirements are traceable,validated, and aligned to broader COEobjectives.
  • Support planning, coordination, and schedule management for platform-level initiatives that span multiple SIs and stakeholders.
  • Identifyrisks, dependencies, and impacts acrossorgsor teams; propose mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate working sessions, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and delivery checkpoints in partnership with PMO and COE leadership.
  • Maintain clear visibility into progress, issues, and decisions for architectural andgovernanceworkstreams.
  • Work effectively in a matrixed environment involving government clients, internal teams, and multiple vendor partners.
  • Serve as a central coordination point for architectural work across multiple Salesforce orgs, applications, and SI teams.
  • Foster a culture of clarity, accountability, and structured communication across diverse technical teams.
