General Summary: This position will be responsible for the development and implementation of the SAMHSA Mental Health First Aid Grant.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors Degree in a field related to Education or Behavioral Health
  • Experience: At least six years work experience in behavioral health system or prevention related area. Prior experience as Project Coordinator preferred.
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Arizona Driver’s License, 39-month Motor Vehicle Report and proof of vehicle registration and liability insurance that meets insurance requirements, if required.
  • Must possess Level 1 fingerprint clearance.
  • CPR and First Aid certification, if required (Employer provides).
  • Initial current negative TB test result, if required (Employer provides).

Responsibilities

  • Supports agency’s mission, goals, and management decisions.
  • Responsible for following any policies, procedures and controls established by the organization, the HIPPA Privacy officer, and/or the HIPPA Security Officer regarding access to, protection of, and the use of PHI.
  • Establish professionalism and positive role modeling for members, guests, and outside groups and visitors.
  • Works directly with Project Director on all phases of program implementation.
  • Oversees all program components and ensures compliance with all program goals and objectives.
  • Facilitation of MHFA trainings with identified Consortium Partners.
  • Works directly with Consortium Partners and provides quarterly updates of progress of project.
  • Assist in overseeing evaluation and research as requested by funding source.
  • Completes reports as requested by funding source.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or necessary as they relate to the nature of the position.
