About The Position

As a dedicated Senior Sewer with advanced expertise in precision sewing techniques, encompassing both assembly line production and the meticulous craftsmanship of bespoke pieces, your pivotal role will revolve around the intricacies of stitching and sewing

Requirements

Approve materials with an eagle eye for flaws, ensuring only the highest quality inputs
Seamlessly guide materials under various sewing machines, showcasing an exceptional skill in precision stitching
Proficiently handle diverse tasks, including placing spools of thread, cord, or other materials on spindles
Showcase proficiency in sewing and the ability to cross-train seamlessly on various machines
Possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in single-needle machine operation within a manufacturing setting
Familiarity with sewing machine setup and advanced fabric sewing techniques
Demonstrated ability to sew closed backs, collars, French seams, buttonholes, and assemble plackets
Rapid acquisition of all responsibilities within an efficient timeframe
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering seamless collaboration with team members
Basic measuring skills and the ability to interpret design specification sheets
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, showcasing resilience and adaptability
Eagerness to take on responsibilities with a deep sense of personal accountability
Perform work in strict accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and legal regulations

Responsibilities

Prepare materials for work, demonstrating an acute understanding of fabric nuances
Ready machines adeptly by seamlessly changing needles, threads, and securing attachments
Adjust machine performance intuitively by keenly observing operations, promptly detecting malfunctions, and adjusting settings to perfection
Showcase versatility by hand sewing and ironing as necessary
Ensure equipment operates at its peak through meticulous preventive maintenance, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and promptly calling for repairs
Maintain the highest standards of quality by inspecting finished products with an attention to detail that reflects excellence
Keep a clean, organized work area and adhere rigorously to safety protocols
Contribute significantly to the team's success by achieving exceptional results in line with established goals
Demonstrate adaptability and a proactive approach in handling responsibilities
Provide suggestions for quality improvement and enhancement
