About The Position

To provide the next operation with a quality product by sanding to tolerance.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification, and Textron Aviation’s blueprint reading class preferred.
• 0-6 months of sanding experience.

Nice To Haves

• Textron Aviation’s blueprint reading class preferred.

Responsibilities

• Working from work orders, specifications, procedures, and detailed instructions to sand basic parts.
• Operates pneumatic and hand sanding tools to prepare basic furniture parts at the raw stage, or prior to build-coat /topcoat processes.
• Maintains close mental and visual attention to meet tolerance of finish per process.
• Responsible for own work.
• Performs other related duties as required.
