About The Position

Disassemble, clean, sanitize, reassemble and test-run all elements of the line seven scaling and feeding system prior to the first shift start up. Responsibilities/Duties: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Minimum expectations include but are not limited to: Wash all out of place equipment from the packaging room like; cutters, delinkers, declipper, meat conveyor, meat hopper, slicer, slicer conveyor, eagle loader, MAP tank, stainless tanks, tables, floor mats, and associated small parts. Prioritize equipment wash order. Prevents equipment accumulation outside wash room, has all equipment ready for first shift production. Take responsibility in your work to produce a safe and quality food product. Report all food safety and quality related problems to your supervisor, manager, or to the QA department to initiate immediate action.

Requirements

  • Required education is a high school degree or equivalent GED
  • 6 months to 1 year of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • The ability to read English and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to perform these operations using any or all units of weight measurement, volume, distance, and American money.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
