JOB DESCRIPTION: This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the production area. All assigned work duties are to be completed prior to the end of shift while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. REQUIREMENTS: This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the production area in accordance with USDA, HACCP, and QA pre-op protocols. This position will be required to use high pressure hose, chemical solutions, assemble/unassembled lines, and equipment as required for proper cleaning and sanitizing. This position must also clean equipment, lines, machines, floors, ceiling, lighting fixtures, fans, and take out trash. This position will be required to be obtain LOTO (lockout tagout), fall protection, PIT (if needed) training, also. Other duties assigned by Manager. Ability to work overtime and weekends and be willing to accommodate shift start time changes. Must be willing and able to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must be willing and able to lift to 70 pounds on a frequent basis. The Team Member will be exposed to possible warm or cold temperatures, wet, humid, or dusty conditions. The Team Member will work in a refrigerated area with an ambient temperature of 40 degrees. The Team Member will walk or stand for 8-12 hours per day on hard floors. The Team Member will work in an environment with the sight and smell of meat products or any other product present when processing meat such as blood, fat, bone, or spices.
