About The Position

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Work cooperatively with management, team members, customers and regulatory agencies to ensure sanitation procedures are followed. Maintain open communications with all team members in the plant. Meet with the Supervisor on a regular basis to ensure all issues are being properly handled and addressed including missing or damaged parts and equipment. Clean and sanitize equipment and workspace in a designated area of the plant. Ensure team members in assigned area complete job tasks to QA and USDA standards. Inspect equipment to ensure all areas are clean for pre-op inspections. Handle chemicals to ensure usage is within specified limits. Monitor and provide PPE. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 6 months to a year in sanitation/food processing industry
