About The Position

Job Summary
This position will be responsible for light sanitation and cleaning duties throughout the production day.

• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Ability to take direction and follow detailed instructions

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize processing facility and equipment; including, but not limited to, scrubbing, wiping, foaming, and rinsing equipment
• Clean floors and robot cages
• Empty and replace inedible totes
• Prepare the production area for the next shift sanitation team
• Maintain an understanding of and follow USDA guidelines for proper procedure in a food processing area
• Practice safe handling, use, and storage of chemicals or products being used
• Keep work area clean, follow GMP, and wear appropriate PPE
• Other duties as assigned
