About The Position

RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in the assigned area by means of routine inspections, cleaning in a detailed manner, recognizing product protection issues and maintaining pest control standards. Routine preventative maintenance duties on down days and assisting the Milling Department with any difficulties in operations. Must follow daily cleaning schedule and do other duties assigned by supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS: Individual must excel in respect, trust, and responsibility, striving for continuous improvement, commitment to excellence. Must have the ability to read, write and perform mathematics. Must have exceptional housekeeping skills. Requires a detail-oriented and quality conscious individual. Successful experience working independently. Must be able to work with little supervision at times and be able to make good sound decisions to insure product integrity. Moderate arm strength to utilize pressurized air hose in elevated areas. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to climb on trailers, railcars and in storage bins without fear of heights, which might hinder job performance. Must be able to climb stairs and maneuver uneven terrain. Good at detail type work of a repetitive nature and can work indoors or outdoors. Tolerance to withstand high temperatures in mill during summer months. Ability to work rotating shifts as needed – first, seconds &/or thirds.
