You Are: You are an experience SAP Basis Lead with deep expertise in SAP Basis Administration and a passion for ensure stable, scalable, and secure SAP environments. You excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environments and enjoy leading teams, solving complex infrastructure challenges, and guiding technical decisions. You are also a strong communicator who can work across multiple teams, influence solutions, and ensure smooth operations in large-scale SAP landscapes. The Work: Lead SAP Basis operations across SAP S/4Hana and related landscapes. Oversee installation, configuration, upgrades, migrations, and SAP system maintenance. Ensure high system reliability, scalability, and performance through proactive monitoring and tuning. Manage user administration, security controls, and compliance requirements. Provide technical leadership and act as subject matter expert (SME), guiding team decisions and resolving complex issues. Engage with multiple cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with project and business objectives. Provide solutions to issues impacting your team and other teams, driving continuous improvement. Innovate and optimize SAP Basis operations to enhance system efficiency and accessibility. Monitor and improve system performance, stability, and integration reliability. This role requires 3 days per week in our Montreal office.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
  • Hands-on experience supporting SAP S/4Hana landscapes.
  • Strong experience with SAP system copies, kernel upgrades, transports, client strategies, and performance tuning.
  • Understanding of database technologies and cloud hosting models.
  • Experience leading SAP technical teams or workstreams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or completion of college diploma in a related discipline.
  • English is required for this position as this role will be aligned to multi-national teams where English is the common language across our Global Enterprise. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking multi-national teams, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
