SAP Data Consultant
About The Position
Design, develop, and implement enterprise database architecture and large -scale data integration strategies to support SAP S/4HANA, SAP BRIM, and related enterprise applications. Architect and optimize ETL frameworks using SAP BODS and SAP Data Intelligence Cloud for high -volume, multi -source data migration from legacy systems including SQL Server, Oracle, GCP, Sybase, and flat files. Define database schemas, data models, transformation rules, and governance standards to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with SOX and GDPR. Lead data migration planning, including load sequencing, cutover schedules, and hypercare support, and prepare detailed mapping documents and data dictionaries for master and transactional data. Integrate migration processes with SAP via IDoc, RFC, and BAPI interfaces, configuring partner profiles, distribution models, and inbound/outbound processing. Develop and implement pre -load and post -load validation and reconciliation frameworks, automating source -to -target comparison reports and exception -handling procedures. Optimize ETL performance using partitioning, parallel processing, caching, and tuning techniques to improve processing times for large -scale data loads. Design delta update strategies using CDC transforms and ABAP logic, maintaining full audit trails and incremental load accuracy. Collaborate with SAP functional teams, business SMEs, and integration teams to align database architecture with business rules, operational requirements, and performance goals. Maintain complete architecture documentation, technical specifications, SOPs, and training materials for ongoing operations and future system rollouts.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or foreign equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or foreign equivalent, and sixty (60) months of experience.
