About The Position

The SAP Functional Tester plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, stability, and readiness of SAP processes during system enhancements, upgrades, or new implementations. This position focuses on validating end‑to‑end business workflows, identifying defects, supporting integration checks, and ensuring that SAP functions operate as intended across cross‑functional business areas. Working closely with project teams, business users, and IT, the tester ensures quality, consistency, and compliance throughout all testing phases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in SAP functional testing, UAT execution, or QA roles supporting ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of business processes in areas such as Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, or related operations.
  • Experience executing structured test scripts, documenting system behavior, and logging defects in test‑tracking tools.
  • Ability to follow detailed test protocols and adhere to quality/compliance standards common in regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with integrated system testing (e.g., LIMS, MES, serialization, equipment or labeling systems) is a plus.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, follow structured processes, and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare for testing by reviewing requirements, validating test scripts, and ensuring necessary data, access, and tools are ready.
  • Execute functional, regression, and end‑to‑end SAP test cases; document results and capture required evidence.
  • Identify, log, and track defects with clear reproduction steps; support retesting after fixes.
  • Validate integrated workflows between SAP and connected systems (e.g., LIMS, MES, labeling/serialization).
  • Provide concise status updates, communicate testing blockers, and collaborate with project teams to resolve issues.
  • Support go‑live readiness checks and provide on‑floor user assistance.
