About The Position

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP/non-SAP PS and PP modules supporting Shipbuilding production operations. Translate business needs into functional specifications and SAP/non-SAP system improvements. Facilitate coordination between engineering, procurement, production, finance, and IT teams during the project implementation. Support the integration of digital solutions (such as CAD, ERP and production scheduling systems) into existing workflows. Monitor project progress, document results, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders and management. Lead organizational change management activities related to new system implementation, including stakeholder engagement, process transition planning, and user adoption strategies. Support communication, training, and documentation efforts to help users successfully adopt new systems and workflows. Promote continuous improvement and process innovation across shipyard operations. Drive a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring sustainable impact across departments. Perform other related duties as required and assigned. Work to ensure that everyone inside the shipyard is safe and performs their work in accordance with HPSI’s core principles. Ensure that all HPSI safety procedures, rules and regulations are communicated, understood, and followed.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of SAP/non-SAP PS and PP architecture and configuration
  • Strong domain knowledge of shipbuilding or heavy industries
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional and international teams
  • Strategic thinking with a passion for innovation and change management
  • Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable to evolving environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems or related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of SAP consulting or solution architecture experience, preferably in shipbuilding or heavy industries.
  • Deep Hands-on experience in SAP/non-SAP PS and PP modules
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and process optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-departmental projects and communicate technical information effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with digitalization tools for shipbuilding (e.g., CAD, ERP) is highly desirable.
  • Preferred certification: SAP Certified Technology Architect – S/4HANA, SAP Enterprise Architect, TOGAF or equivalent
