Learn more at www.rmsmachining.com and www.cretexmedical.com. Saw Operator Summary The Saw Operator will be responsible for set up, operation, and maintenance of multiple CNC-based saws. This role will perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations where programs are provided. 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 2:30pm to 11:00pm, Training on 1st shift 6:00am to 2:30pm for up to 90 days

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with a CNC interface
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, around machinery that may be exposed to and around oils & solvents
  • Ability to read, comprehend, follow, and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training documents
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Dexterity and hand and eye coordination
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to lilft up to / over 50 pounds frequenty

Responsibilities

  • Operate and set-up (calibration, cleaning etc.) bandsaw, cold saw, and lathe
  • Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. feed & speed)
  • Feed raw material into machines
  • Inspect parts and raw materials with precision and measuring tools
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance on saw equipment
  • Read and interpret basic blueprints
  • Operate: Computer systems, scanning equipment, electronic scales, forklift and other moving equipment
  • Enter production information into the ERP system/internal tracking logs on a timely basis
  • Accurately records and reports hours worked
  • Adhere to all safety policies; includes wearing personal protective equipment when required
  • Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
  • Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
  • Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve
  • Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly
  • Participate in required company meetings
  • Maintain an organized work area (5S)
  • Participate in the Operational Excellence Program
  • Complete all other work duties as assigned
