About The Position

The Saw Operator is responsible for cutting raw materials, including metals and plastics, to precise dimensions using a Hydmech H-14 horizontal band saw and a Brobo cold saw. This role supports production and involves reading work orders and blueprints, measuring and verifying dimensions, selecting blades, and adjusting machine settings for optimal performance. The Saw Operator will also deburr parts for safety and quality, handle materials using lifting equipment, perform basic machine maintenance, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Requirements

• Prior experience operating industrial saws
• Skilled in reading tape measures and basic blueprints
• Comfortable working with raw metal stock
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
