About The Position

The SBA Foreclosure & Liquidation Officer will work closely with the SBA Loan Servicing Manager and all members of the SBA Servicing team to effectively manage and report on loans in the SBA Division portfolio that have defaulted. The SBA Foreclosure & Liquidation Officer must be able to effectively manage their time to ensure that all default/foreclosure and liquidation timetables are completed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and related software applications.
  • Strong SBA background in foreclosure & liquidation.
  • Accounting, Underwriting, analytical experience preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well organized; ability to multitask; attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and adapt to change.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, high production, professional environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Accounting experience preferred
  • Underwriting experience preferred
  • Analytical experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage a specific portion of the Evolve SBA portfolio.
  • UPP Tab submissions for all loans that are in liquidation.
  • Handle foreclosure process and collateral evaluation and sales.
  • Review of UCC and other lien searches.
  • Ensure all SBA reporting requirements are timely and current.
  • Monitor SBA Reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist Manager with special projects.
  • Go to foreclosed sites to ensure proper shut-down and property removal.
  • Work closely with attorneys to ensure compliance and completion of foreclosure process.
  • Manage agreements and modifications with Borrowers and SBA when applicable.
  • Other duties as assigned.
