Hiring Salary Range Level I: $75,500 - $113,300 Level II: $86,900 - $130,400 Level III: $99,900 - $149,900 Compensation is determined by a combination of factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications. The actual offer may vary, reflecting the candidate's unique blend of experience, educational background, and skill level. PURPOSE: This position supports Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Energy Management Systems (EMS) essential to the operation of the DPC Bulk Electric System and member distribution electric systems.

Requirements

Level I Bachelor’s degree in an Information Systems or Electrical Engineering related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Strong organizational, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Must be self‐motivated, disciplined, and able to perform job duties both independently and in a team setting.
Familiarity with information technology systems.
Level II Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Electrical Engineering related field. Two (2) years of relevant experience Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Must be self‐motivated, disciplined, and able to perform job duties both independently and in a team setting.
Ability to maintain technical documentation and cross-train peers.
Strong knowledge of information or operational technology systems.
Familiarity with the configuration and maintenance of SCADA or EMS systems.
Level III Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Electrical Engineering related field. Four (4) years of relevant experience Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Strong organizational, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Must be self‐motivated, disciplined, and able to perform job duties both independently and in a team setting.
Ability to maintain technical documentation and cross-train peers.
Strong knowledge of operational technology systems
Experience with the configuration and maintenance of SCADA and EMS systems.
Experience with the Bulk Electric System and the elements modeled in SCADA/EMS.
Knowledge and understanding of electric utility business principles, compliance programs and operations.

Nice To Haves

Ability to cross-train peers and maintain technical documentation.
Experience with programming or scripting language (C, Python, Bash, PHP, Powershell).
Familiarity with operational technology systems.
Experience working within a cooperative utility environment
Knowledge of telecommunications, data center infrastructure, digital security, and networking.
Experience with AI tools.

Responsibilities

Assist in maintenance and recovery of reliable operation of assigned systems that are used to operate mission critical functions.
Provide on-call support outside of normal business hours, rotating with other staff.
Provide support for mission critical staff and systems, including after hours.
Maintain technical knowledge of diagnostic and recovery procedures
Assist with high availability and disaster recovery solutions for mission critical functions
Conduct maintenance and support activities in a manner that maximizes the availability of critical functions
Protect the integrity and security of data, controls, applications, systems and networks, in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and DPC policies.
Assist with ongoing projects with operations, settlements, communications, engineering, member cooperatives, and other utility organizations.
Maintain distribution and transmission control system definitions for monitoring, control, logic, and user interfaces.
Verify integrity of all functions impacted by changes.
Assist primary application owners with support and troubleshooting SCADA/EMS adjacent applications, including data archives, demand response, meter reading, and energy accounting.
Maintain application definitions to meet changing operational and user requirements.
Provide instruction to users and cross-train with peers.
Maintain technical and user documentation.
Demonstrate integrity and high work standards as a member of the support team.
Provide remote and onsite support, occasionally traveling to offsite locations.
Escalate support and request items to appropriate technology staff or vendors when necessary, ensuring proper communication and follow-up with the customer occurs.
Build relationships with end users, IT team members, and business leaders to improve engagement and understanding of departmental roles and responsibilities.
Assist with communicating outages, maintenance, and process updates.
Participate in various projects and project tasks where appropriate.
Perform other duties as assigned.
