About The Position

Sky Climber Access Solutions is looking for a Scaffold Builder in our Houston area location. MUST NOT BE AFRAID OF HEIGHTS!!!

Requirements

• Have the ability to carry two 50# weights at one time
• Be comfortable with physical work that requires climbing stairs and ladders frequently
• Be comfortable working at heights
• Extensive experience in erecting swing and supported scaffolds
• Good working knowledge of OSHA regulations regarding scaffolding
• Minimum 2 years of experience building various scaffolding types at a reputable company
• This is a safety sensitive position
• Hours – M-F – 7am – 4pm (Hours will vary by workload)
• Position is Hourly Non-Exempt
• Job Type: Full-time
• Work Location: In person
• Pre-employment testing: Drug Test Background Check Physical MVR Check

Responsibilities

• Carrying / installing / erecting rigging suspended and supported scaffold on customer sites
• Loading / unloading trucks in warehouse
• Hoist, assembly, and disassembly of platforms
• Uncoiling and lowering both electrical cord and wire ropes
• Deliveries – including loading and unloading of vehicle climbing onto and off flat bed trucks
• Work with team to safely and efficiently erect and dismantle various types of scaffolds
• Complete required job site and internal paperwork requirements daily
• Other duties as assigned
