The Scaler is responsible for providing accurate measures and maintaining the integrity of raw ingredients that are required for the production of baked goods. The Scaler will be responsible for exercising Good Manufacturing Practices. The Scaler must be cross functional in Food Safety to be able to perform in any area needed in the plant. Essential Functions (mental & physical) Uses Digital scales to weigh quantities of raw materials for use in the production process. Reads work order or formula to determine types and quantities of material to weigh. Places loose or packaged material on scales or removes portions of material to obtain specified weight. Sorts weight materials used for production. Records weight materials into designated bins or containers according to weight or type Maintain cleanliness of equipment.
