About The Position

Your Role: The Scanning Lead will ensure products are priced and displayed properly throughout the store. Assist with correcting issues with pricing and active advertising programs.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school degree, equivalent, or two to three years of relevant experience.
Basic math skills are necessary.
Must be able to read and apply company procedure documents.
Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary to greet customers and provide information in an accurate and courteous manner.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks accurately and courteously.
Must be able to complete company-sponsored training and required updates within specified training periods.
Excellent planning skills.
Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds throughout a normal shift, moving and stacking merchandise, cleaning, sweeping, shoveling snow.
Ability to plan projects effectively.
Ability to use a computer.
Ability to learn and retain products, and product locations throughout the store.
Ability to work in commercial refrigerators and freezers.
Ability to stoop, bend, and stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to work inside coolers to maintain inventory.
Ability to ascend and descend a five-foot step ladder safely.

Responsibilities

Ensure accurate pricing is displayed on the shelf and display locations throughout the store.
Process batches and verify pricing for advertised sales and other promotions.
Ensure current ad signs are displayed in a timely manner, while ensuring expired signage is removed before start of the business day following the date of expiration.
Assist Pricebook by notifying discrepancies and providing information necessary to resolve issues.
Audits pricing throughout entire store twice each year.
Inform store manager of any pricing discrepancies or pricing issues.
Follows all safety standards and rules.
Completed all required training within specified deadlines.
May be called upon to perform additional tasks and duties as requested by the Store Manager.
